Atlanta Braves at the test tower in Rottweil

The new test tower will be ready in Atlanta in 2021 - we had the pleasure to welcome Mike Plant and Jeremy J. Strife from the Atlanta Braves in our test tower on August 27. Part of their visit through the test tower was the breathtaking view from Germany's highest viewing platform and insights into the first ropeless elevator MULTI.

thyssenkrupp Elevator celebrated the ground-breaking ceremony for the new "Innovation and Qualification Center" (IQC) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in mid-April this year. The centerpiece of the research unit is a 128-meter tower for elevator testing. It is not only the highest of its kind in the USA, but also holds one of the top positions internationally. It is also a highly visible landmark for thyssenkrupp Elevator's new US headquarters in the near of SunTrust Park, home of the Atlanta Braves baseball team.
