The Beni Challenge against the Rottweiler fire brigade

100 years of Disney led the main character Benedikt Werber to the test tower on 21 June 2023.

For this challenge, he competed against the Rottweil fire brigade with a tower run and had to climb the last 100 metres in height. This was a special challenge in full protective equipment, including breathing protection, and nothing stood in the way of the start at 130 metres.

Of course, the firefighters from Rottweil showed their best side and, with the support of town fire chief Frank Müller, this was good training for the upcoming tower run in September. All respect to Beni, who crossed the finish line fully equipped, while the firefighters had already completed a round of ‘Mensch ärgere dich nicht’ for show.

The programme will be broadcast in September.
