SF1000 - the largest machine from TK Elevator reaches the Rottweil testtower

A special highlight took place last week at the TK Elevator test tower: the delivery of the new SF1000 machine. This is the largest machine available for test operation in Rottweil.

The SF1000 is one of the latest generation of gearless synchronous drives and forms the basis for modern high-rise projects. It is the largest and most powerful drive system used by TK Elevator in the high rise sector.

The drive was designed for a nominal load of 5,000 kg at 12 m/s and 1:1 suspension. Depending on the design and car weight, nominal loads of up to 8,000 kg are possible with 1:1 suspension. The maximum car weight is 17,000 kg. If a 2:1 suspension is selected, the maximum rated load is 12,000 kg. The maximum lifting height is 550 metres.
