the test tower Rottweil opens its doors again for visitors on 29 May. The test tower team has prepared and implemented the reopening under the guidelines of the state government of Baden-Württemberg. Germany's highest viewing platform will be open on Fridays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets for the viewing platform can currently only be purchased via the online shop at https://shop.testturm.de/ and not at the box office to coordinate visitor traffic.

Although we are very pleased about this relaxation, the health and safety of our visitors and our staff is still our top priority. We want you to enjoy the view without any worries and have taken various precautions to ensure this. Despite all these precautions, we ask you to pay attention to the hygiene measures. You will find instructions on site at the test tower.

Q. When will the test tower be open again? A. We look forward to welcoming you again from Friday, 29 May 2020.

Q. What will the opening hours be? A. The viewing platform will be open on Fridays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Unfortunately the platform will be closed during the Whitsun holidays and on public holidays.

Q. How can I purchase tickets? A. Tickets for the highest viewing platform in Germany can currently be purchased online at https://shop.testturm.de/. In order to limit the number of visitors, day tickets are currently not sold at the test tower.

Q. What happens to tickets I have already purchased online? A. Visitors who have already purchased an online ticket for the Test Tower will automatically receive a voucher code for the amount of the tickets purchased by email. With this voucher code you can book new tickets online free of charge.

Q. Will the validity of the season ticket be extended? A. The validity of your season ticket is automatically extended by two months.

Q. How does the purchase of online tickets work? A. Tickets can currently be purchased online at https://shop.testturm.de/. Before you can place your order, please register in our new online shop. After payment has been received you will receive an email with all information and your tickets. Please pay attention to your spam filter settings to receive the tickets: Make sure that your mailbox has a spam folder that will hold the email in case of emergency. Allow unknown senders and attachments as PDF at this time. The confirmation mail also serves as an invoice. Thanks to the registration function, you will no longer lose a ticket. In your account you will find all the tickets you buy from us stored as long as they have not been redeemed or have expired. If you still encounter problems, please contact the team of the Testturm-Shop via the contact form on the shop's website.

Q. Is it necessary to wear a mask on the viewing platform? Yes, entering the building is only allowed with mouth-nose covers. It is also necessary to wear a mouth-and-nose mask on the viewing platform. Please bring your own mask. We adhere to the regulations of the state government of Baden-Württemberg.

Q. Can I take my bag with me on the observation deck? A. A maximum bag size (size DIN A4) for taking along on the observation deck is allowed. Please note: At the moment we cannot accept larger pieces of luggage for storage.

Q. How many people are transported in the elevator A. In order to maintain a safe distance, the elevator will transport a maximum of three guests and one elevator operator with a safe distance of 1.5 m.

Q. Can I pay with cash at the test tower? Online tickets are paid online. Various payment methods are available here. The provision of different payment methods depends on how many days remain until the desired event. During the ordering process you will be shown which of the following payment methods are still possible. In general you can choose between prepayment, PayPal (from 20,- Euro order value), credit card and instant bank transfer. Payment for merchandising articles on site should be made without cash if possible.

Q. What are you doing at the test tower for coronavirus security? A. All employees are routinely sensitized to hygiene issues. As at all Elevator locations throughout Germany, we have posted posters in the test tower to demonstrate the correct behavior to reduce the risk of infection. In addition, before entering the test tower, guests are informed about ways of cleaning their hands by providing disinfection facilities or hand washing facilities with soap and running water, and made aware of the obligation to use them.

We ask you to pay attention to the hygiene & safety rules. It is in all our interests and responsibility to observe these rules and to show consideration for each other. We are dependent on your assistance!

For a healthy cooperation

Health - We ask you to visit the test tower only if you are in good health. Visitors who have had contact with a person infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the past 14 days or who show symptoms of respiratory infection or elevated temperature are not allowed to enter the test tower. If you belong to a risk group, we recommend that you refrain from visiting for your own protection.

Distance - Please observe the specified distance regulation of at least 1.5 meters during your entire stay.

Mouth and nose mask - Due to the valid mask obligation, the wearing of a mouth and nose mask is obligatory. Please bring your own mask. Wearing a mouth-nose mask is subject to the official regulations of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. This includes all groups of persons (such as children) listed there. The current status of the regulations can be viewed on the website of the federal state.

Sneezing & Coughing - We kindly ask you to observe the standard sneezing and coughing etiquette when visiting the test tower.

Washing hands - Frequent and thorough hand washing is strongly recommended. Please make regular use of this. There are sufficient facilities available for this.

Discomfort - If you feel unwell during your visit, avoid all contact with other guests and contact the nearest staff member immediately. Please always wear your mouth-nose mask.

Our service for you:

Disinfection - Disinfection dispensers are available in the test tower. You are welcome to make use of this opportunity.

Waiting areas - In all waiting areas you will find distance markings on the floor for orientation. Please note that a maximum of three people from the same household may enter a section.

Cleaning - The cleaning team disinfects all important areas of the test tower, such as sanitary facilities, door handles or the entrance areas, at regular intervals during the entire opening hours.

General Notes

Payment - Tickets can only be paid for online. Payment for merchandising items in the test tower should be made without cash if possible.

Waiting time - We ask for your understanding that longer waiting times may occur due to the new measures and regulations.

Panoramic elevator - In order to ensure a safe distance, a maximum of three guests and an elevator driver will be transported with a sufficient safety distance of 1.5 m. Q.
