TKE Towerrun 2025

It's that time again: the next TKE Towerrun will take place on Sunday, 21 September 2025 in the lift test tower in Rottweil.

Since it's premiere in 2018, enthusiasts from more than 30 countries worldwide have participated, including a travelling sportsman from Australia and the world's number one stair runner, Wai Ching Soh from Malaysia, who won the TKE Towerrun 2024.

The fastest stair-racing enthusiasts have climbed the tower in 6:56 min (men) and 9:07 min (women).

The TKE Towerrun is also a training hotspot for firefighters and police. It is really impressive to see the fire brigade teams in full gear and breathing apparatus arriving at Germany's highest visitor platform after 1,390 steps!

Of course, every year some members of our TKE family take part in the challenge. The TK Elevator Towerrun is an event for all ages and abilities - top international runners, firefighters and ambitious recreational runners take to the starting line. The event is also a generational run. The youngest stair runner was just 7 years old and the oldest stair runner reached the finish line at the age of 84.
