TK Elevator’s new S100 stairlift brings secure home mobility to the next level

Düsseldorf, August 03, 2022 – For those for whom home mobility becomes an obstacle, TK Elevator provides secure solutions for maximum independence: The new stairlift S100 combines the extensive state-of-the-art technology of its multiple award-winning counterpart the S200 stairlift, thereby providing customers with options that fit to their mobility needs.

The S100 stairlift is equipped with extensive safety features such as an armrest detection, ensuring that the stairlift will not move unless the armrest is fully folded. Additionally, an emergency stop button and an optional call device optimize safety and control that allows the user to contact friends, family, and medical advisers. Furthermore, a new high-quality safety belt detection ensures maximum safe operation.

To many people, the weight capacity of a stairlift is a common concern. The S100 provides a solution: The seat is designed to carry up to 160 kilograms. For optimal fit, the seat height is adjustable, and the seat shell was made wider and deeper to provide the greatest possible comfort, reducing back-to-knee length.

The S100 is controlled by an intuitive and easy to use joystick that can be operated by fingers, thumbs, the wrist or even the side of the user’s hand. Moreover, the stairlift comes with a key lock to avoid unauthorized usage. It can be switched off when grandchildren visit – or when installed in public areas.

The new S100’s chair, armrest, and footrest are available in neutral and timeless colors to blend in perfectly within every home. It marks the latest addition to TK Elevator´s innovative portfolio that includes the S200 stairlift which has been awarded with the Red Dot and the German Design Award in 2021.
