AI-powered passenger flow
HELIX is TKE's first high-speed elevator powered by people-centered AI and data-driven decision making. It delivers improved uptime along with truly dynamic traffic performance and service management, helping to keep buildings connected and people moving smoothly at every stage of the elevator lifecycle. The new AGILE Dispatcher algorithm recognises traffic patterns and dynamically adjusts parameters to the detail: During rush hour it can boost door dwelling times (e.g. if passengers exit but no new ones board). At off-peak times it will use a minimum of elevators and can lower acceleration speeds to reduce energy consumption and wear and tear. What's more: Because it's so adaptive, the flexibility to shift your building's usage or tenant structure has never been greater. Whatever future plans with your new skyscraper, HELIX is ahead of the curve.
All-new seamless interface
HELIX debuts the large 15.6" in-cabin multimedia display with animated travel and infotainment widgets, and TK Elevator's new Series 70 collection of landing indicators and operating panels. Together with the 2nd generation of our AGILE Destination Controls touchscreen terminals they form the key ingredients for a seamless journey through your building, where passengers always remain accompanied by the same look & feel and control logic. HELIX' harmonised human interface prepares the ground for smooth and efficient traffic flow simply by being easy to understand, even easier to use and requiring no passenger to look twice to follow the path that is set for them.
Big data for your building
HELIX owners and facility managers enjoy all the benefits of natively digital elevators: big data, precise analytics, full control, and smart service.
Monitoring: HELIX is available with our on-premise MAX Monitoring & Control solution, allowing 24/7 access to performance data, scheduling of operations and full transparency on unit health and maintenance status.
API connectivity: HELIX supports open API integration with your building's platform (e.g. BMS, access control, security management).
Smart maintenance: Supported with diagnostics from our MAX IoT cloud where data from thousands of elevators around the world is aggregated and analysed, your TKE service engineer not only can act swiftly and accurately, but also preemptively tackle issues before they can cause interruptions.
High-performance regenerative drive
Our dedicated engineering is evident in HELIX' high-performance machine and inverter. Our newest mounting setup with additional insulation, damping and balancing measures keeps vibration and noise to a minimum, and ensures reliability and maximum ride quality.
Built-in energy efficiency
HELIX' reduced energy demands will shrink your building’s operational electricity costs. An extremely efficient machine room, the traction machine’s regenerative mode, standard regenerative drive functionality and other energy-saving features such as LED lighting and stand-by mode enable HELIX to achieve the highest energy-rating class A in heavy-duty applications.
Superior high-speed ride
HELIX incorporates state-of-the-art components made to the strictest quality standards to achieve smooth, quiet and precise ride quality at high speeds: A sophisticated car-and-sling system, high-performance doors, an electronically controlled and friction-minimising roller guide system, precisely aligned guide rails in the elevator shaft and the Absolute Positioning System for accurate floor leveling. It can even do express starts!
Flexible configuration
To blend your elevator system with your building’s architectural design, we offer a broad degree of configuration flexibility to resolve complex challenges and deliver highly customized solutions. Customizable cabin shapes and dimensions include extra-wide and extra-high doors as well as an optimized shaft efficiency and machine room layout.
Reassuring technology
Whatever the technical challenge – building sway, piston or stack effect, seismic forces or fire-fighting acc. to EN 81-72 – HELIX always ensures passenger safety and long-term functionality.
An eco-friendly elevator system
HELIX contributes to a more sustainable building to enable certification to green rating systems such as LEED, BREEAM, DGNB, HQE, etc. HELIX will also come with environmental product declaration sheets, RoHS compliance as a CE-marked product and numerous energy-efficient or eco-friendly features.
A global solution ...
HELIX is a global TK Elevator development. It's the culmination of best practices and technology assets from our around-the-world R&D networks to reflect the high-rise segment's needs. Our most experienced engineers join their forces and know-how to deliver a product that is truly global – in exactly the same way architects, investors and property developers as well as skyscrapers themselves are operating and evolving on an international scale.
... delivered locally
While we leverage the global design of HELIX, it stays a remarkably local product when it comes to its industrialization and manufacturing for the European high-rise market. Production of key components is done on the continent in our state-of-the-art Product Competence Center in Esslingen, Germany, and combined with our consulting experts and experienced local organisations, we assure standardized processes, predefined product configurations, and delivery packages. The result? Reduced complexity, quick delivery, operational excellence, and product consistency at high quality levels.
Your elevators, your style
To be tailored to your building
From the lobby to the top floor, the design of modern high-rise buildings is a composition of ambiances. Elevators can connect these different atmospheres fluidly, not just by facilitating the actual travel, but also by their own design. Modern material technology imposes very few limits on achieving the desired look & feel every architect and interior design expert strives for. That's why HELIX allows for design customizations, and is especially suited for heavyweight cabin decorations. Whether it's marble floors or complex ceilings, we are ready to support in realising your team's design concept.
