Sustainability
Governance & Compliance

We build on robust governance structures including a Compliance Management System, which serve as a framework for our value-based company culture.

What we do

Our Code of Conduct, our Compliance Management System, and a whistleblowing hotline, supported by various internal policies, provide the framework for ensuring the highest standards in business ethics.

Business Ethics

Our values and principles form the foundation for how we do business as well as for how we interact with each other and the people we do business with. Our TK Elevator Code of Conduct defines clear standards for how we behave as individual employees and as a company. All our employees are required to adhere to our Code of Conduct and regularly receive trainings to learn about it.

As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, we support its 10 principles.
We have identified the most relevant Sustainable Development Goals and outlined our contribution in our sustainability report.

Compliance

Compliance – a key aspect of risk management – is an integral part of our operations. Our state-of-the-art Compliance Management System is focused on the key areas of antitrust law, corruption prevention, anti-money laundering, foreign trade control, and data protection. Our global Compliance team is headed by a Chief Compliance Officer. More information about Compliance at TK Elevator can be found here.

Our Compliance Management System is interlinked with TK Elevator’s risk management system and the Internal Control System (ICS).
We ensure that compliance is an integral part of every relevant business process.
We have a well-established whistleblowing hotline, which can be reached via mail, telephone, postal service, or by contacting our compliance officers directly. More information can be found here.

Sustainability Governance

Sustainability topics are governed by TK Elevator’s senior leadership team.

Our strategic decisions on sustainability receive the attention of top leadership and are aligned with all relevant stakeholders within the organization.
We have a central department dedicated to ESG.
We have a cross-functional approach for setting the strategic direction on sustainability topics for the entire organization.

Our Commitments

We have a “zero tolerance” policy for corruption and antitrust violations.
TK Elevator is a signatory of the UN Global Compact, re-affirming our commitment to its universal principles.
We are embedding a sustainable value culture within TK Elevator in which reliability, honesty, credibility and integrity are the cornerstones of our actions.
