Escalator replacement on existing truss with TKE

Plan and produce

The existing escalator is measured to the millimetre and precisely fitting replacement modules are manufactured at TKE's European production centres.

Dismantle and recondition truss

During the subsequent dismantling of the existing escalator, the truss remains in place and is checked, cleaned, and repainted on site.

Install main modules

The new drive and reversing stations are delivered as compact individual units and installed in the existing pits.

Install further key components

Installation of further key components, including electrical cabinets, track system and step band – all perfectly aligned to ensure a precise fit, a smooth ride and low noise levels.

Aesthetic upgrade

Installation of visible components such as balustrades, decking, cladding and floor plates to make the unit also look like new.

Test and commission

Final inspection of the installation, site acceptance test, and formal commissioning of the new escalator.
