Regenerative drive as a standard

With EOX, a regenerative drive (VVVF) is standard. Smaller and more compact than previous versions, it enables energy to be recouped when the elevator is braking, and feeds it back into the building’s grid where it can be used by other elevators or consumers or electricity. It's most effective when the elevator is going up fully loaded, or down with an empty cabin, ideally travelling several floors in one go.

Unique eco-mode

In addition to the standard sleep and stand-by modes, EOX has a feature unique to the residential segment – eco-mode. It “learns” traffic patterns in the building, and adjusts accordingly. During low traffic times, the elevator’s speed and acceleration are reduced to 80% of nominal values (and can be further adjusted to preferences). An active eco-mode status is highlighted to passengers in the cabin display.

Energy Class A rating

A standard EOX configuration achieves Class A energy efficiency, according to ISO 25745-2. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and Health Product Declaration (HPD) are available.

Detailed energy report

Through the online customer portal, EOX owners can create a detailed energy consumption report of the elevator including stats about the energy recuperated through the regenerative drive.

Made in Europe – sustainably

EOX is produced in Europe, where TK Elevator’s factories in Germany and Spain run on 100% green electricity, and we're shipping right it from there in FSC-certified packaging. Sustainability is ingrained at every step of the way, including the choice of suppliers and their compliance with our Code of Conduct.

Fewer unscheduled visits

While we have initiated the move to electric and hybrid vehicles, the most effective saving is the trip not taken. Thanks to our cloud-based smart maintenance which is proven to actively prevents breakdowns, EOX means an up to 50% reduction in unscheduled visits by our service technicians.

Less fuel for transport

A standard 630 kg, 5 stops EOX configuration weights 300 kg less than our previous comparable offering. This engineering achievement is the equivalent of the weight of a grizzly bear; shipping a bear less with every elevator will result in 10% less fuel needed for the average transport from our factory to a construction site.
