thyssenkrupp Elevator to showcase groundbreaking predictive maintenance technology at 2019 BOMA International Annual Conference & Expo

  • MAX, the industry’s first real-time predictive maintenance system, maximizes elevator uptime by predicting failures before they happen
  • thyssenkrupp Elevator will also join fellow attendees and exhibitors in creating and distributing toiletry care packages to help the local homeless community

SALT LAKE CITY (June 22, 2019) – thyssenkrupp Elevator will be showcasing its predictive maintenance system, MAX, in Booth 818 at the 2019 Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Annual Conference Expo, which is being held June 22-25 at the Salt Palace Convention Center & Marriott Downtown City Creek in Salt Lake City.

MAX is the elevator industry’s first real-time, cloud-based predictive maintenance solution. MAX dramatically improves elevator availability by reducing out-of-service situations through realtime diagnostics. MAX has the ability to predict maintenance issues before they occur and empowers elevator engineers by flagging the need to replace components and systems before the end of their life cycle.

“MAX is the elevator maintenance tool building owners and managers have been waiting for as they increasingly seek to incorporate state-of the-art technology-based solutions into their building’s infrastructure to help improve building efficiency and safety,” said Melain Wielkens, VP of Service Sales, thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas.

thyssenkrupp Elevator, along with other BOMA Cornerstone Partners, also donated toiletry care items for the local homeless community and will deliver those items to Volunteers of America® Utah following the show.

“Making a difference in the communities we serve extends beyond the products and services we provide to keep people moving safely,” added Wielkens. “It’s also about providing those in need with the tools and life skills necessary to help them reach their full potential and create a better tomorrow.”
